Honda Shine 125 has remained one of the most preferred commuting bikes in India, yet the 2025 version of the bike makes it more attractive. The Shine 125 is well designed with an excellent performance, contemporary outlook and reputation of dependability aiming at providing comfort and efficiency during rides.
Sleek Design with New Colors
Although Shine 125 continues to sport its recognizable compact commuter-friendly shape, Honda has spruced up its appearance to include six new color options that include Pearl Igneous Black, Geny Gray Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, Decent Blue Metallic and Pearl Siren Blue. The styling is plain, but classy, which suits riders that are more inclined to understated, good taste.
Refined Engine and Smooth Ride
The Shine 125 uses a 123.94cc, single cylinder, air cooled engine which churns out 10.6 bhp and 11Nm of torque. It is currently OBD2B compliant and is up to the current emission standards. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with its power delivery being smooth and fuel consumption efficient. Combined Idling Stop System by Honda then is beneficial because it preserves fuel when stationary during extended halts and can be well used in city traffic.
Digital Console and USB Charging
The most conspicuous version of the upgraded is the fully digital instrument cluster. It shows the real-time mileage, distance to empty, gear position and the service reminders and an Eco indicator. Riders also have access to a USB Type-C charging port, so they can charge devices on the fly–great for commuters who keep in touch or have to take the time to navigate.
Enhanced Stability and Comfort
The Shine 125 rides on alloy wheels of size 18 and has tube less tyres and now has a wider rears tyre of 90mm providing more grip and better stability. The suspensions are the parts of telescopic front forks and five-step adjustable dual rear shock absorbers to maintain a comfortable ride over different road surfaces.
